Access the Database

The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs and the Canadian Council of Fire Marshals and Fire Commissioners are pleased to make the National Fire Information Database available to all researchers. For more information and to submit a request please click here.

Statistics Canada has made CANSIM tables available which provide the public with access to some elements of the database.  In 2018 the CAFC itself will be working at making the full database available, posted. As this task is beyond the scope of the funded project and may take some time, please register your project, if you are a team seeking access to the database and we will keep you posted.

Database

Members can access the database using their members login details on the CAFC website.

Researchers can request access to the database by submitting a Data Sharing Agreement.
